Welcome to Urban Bench Designs! If a bench near you has an unusual slat pattern, support profile, or dedication plate, we would enjoy hearing about it. Walking notes and photo comparisons are welcome too, whether from a single street or a longer survey route.

I recently came across this fun tool app.wombo.art that uses AI to generate art pieces based on text inputs by a user. Needless to say this is a procrastination trap. Here are a few AI-generated art pieces based on some key words of in my research agenda.

  • Access to opportunities
  • Cities
  • Equity
  • Spatial data science
  • Urban mobility
  • Transport
  • Networks
